Liftshare marks its tenth anniversary in style

Who would have thought it? From humble beginnings on a university notice board, the largest car-share scheme in the world has just celebrated its tenth birthday!
Delegates from around the UK came to Norfolk on Friday (26 September) for Liftshare's 10th anniversary conference, which combined inspiration and motivation with help, guidance and the opportunity to network with others running our car-share schemes.
The event was a great success, and was followed the next night by a huge party to thank everyone who had helped in any way over the past decade to take Liftshare to where it is today. Who knows what the next decade will bring? But with the ever-increasing relevance of car-sharing, and several international projects underway, it is certain to be an exciting time.
