liftshare.com has grown up. The new-look website is cleaner, slicker and altogether more sophisticated than its predecessor and includes many new features to make it easier for you to register yourself and your journeys.
The new, improved features of www.Liftshare.com include:
- A simpler registration form for new members
- A reduced number of steps to register a journey
- The addition of 2.3 million locations, including all UK postcodes
- An improved Search function
- More information about the positive impacts of sharing your journey, including money, miles and CO2 saved
- Adherence to the AAA standard for accessibility
The benefits of these changes include:
- Time saved in registering a journey
- Increased chances of finding an exact journey match
- Improved accessibility for people with disabilities
- More opportunities to reduce congestion an pollution
Ali Clabburn, Founder and Managing Director of liftshare.com, says that the new site marks the beginning of a new era in the history of car-sharing:
“Car-sharing has already come a long way in a short time, but with more than 60,000 members now using liftshare's services we felt it was time to overhaul the system and see how we could make it even better.
“With today's news about increased levels of CO2 in the atmosphere, it seems more important than ever that we all do our bit to reduce inefficient car use.
“I'm overjoyed with the end product, and have no doubt that even more people will now want to visit the site and register their journeys.”
