liftshare awarded eWell-Being Award

The eWell-Being Awards, are the first national awards programme of their kind. They are designed to recognise and reward companies that use information and communication technologies to deliver environmental and social benefits.
Adrian Horsford, Director of Social Policy at BT says: "The eWell-Being Awards have been launched to celebrate the contribution technology makes to society. liftshare.com stood out as an innovative example of how technology can make a positive impact on the environment."
Judges' Comments
"liftshare Uses ICT effectively as a means of reducing the environmental impact of transport. By focusing on groups and communities of common interest it has taken a realistic and achievable path to making lift sharing more likely to suceed."
