What is car-sharing?

Car-sharing (also known as ride-sharing, lift-sharing and carpooling), is when two or more people share one car and travel together.

It allows people to benefit from all the convenience of the car whilst also reducing congestion, pollution, the need for parking spaces and the cost of travel.

Our system helps people who would like to car-share to find others going the same way so they can travel better together.
