National Liftshare Day 2007 only one month away!

National Liftshare Day will be taking place on Thursday 14th June 2007. The aim of the day is to highlight the environmental and personal cost benefits of car sharing and to raise awareness among members of the public of the savings they can make by sharing their fuel costs. Liftsharewww.Liftshare.com is FREE for anyone to join simply by logging details of any journey they wish to make. The advanced matching software will then provide members with a map and details of others who are traveling the same way.
Over the last year more than 100 organizations have worked with Liftshare to establish their own car share schemes. Liftshare are now working with over 500 organisations nationally. Many of these will be undertaking their own promotion for the 14th June. More information can on these events can be found at www.nationalLiftshareday.org.
Register today and recommend the site to friends, family and colleagues and save yourself money whist doing your bit for the environment and helping us get wasted empty seats off the UK's roads.
