Keith Irving of the South East Scotland Regional Transport Partnership left yesterdays' Liftshare Masterclass laden down with more than 226 boxes of Matchmakers after being awarded one box of chocolates for everyone new member which signed up to www.tripsharesestran.com between 22nd Jan – 12th March 2008. The Masterclass was kindly hosted by the Scottish Government at their building at Victoria Quay. It aimed to provide an opportunity for Liftshare's Scottish clients to hear from experienced Carshare Campaigners from Scotland and across the UK.
The competition which took place as part of the day was aimed at incentivising Carshare Managers to give their scheme a really big push in the run up to the conference.
Special additional prizes also went to Glasgow and Clyde NHS Trust for a fantastic launch (126 new members) and Edinburgh Airport (108 new members) and Fife Council (39 new members) for the excellent work they had been doing over recent weeks.
Charli Bullock the SEStran Account Manager at Liftshare was delighted with the result saying:
"I know everyone at SEStran works really hard to make their car share scheme a success so I'm really pleased we were able to acknowledge their efforts. Hopefully the chocolate can be used to entice even more members to sign up."
Keith from SEStran commented:
"I'm delighted to be picking up this prize on behalf of tripsharesestran. I know all this chocolate is going to be a big help in incentivising more members to sign up to the scheme and I've already got some ideas of how we can use it within the regions to have the greatest impact."
Luckily Keith was carsharing back to the council offices so other delegates were on hand to help him carry his prize!
