Do you remember being free-range as a kid?
13/06/2008

That's what the UK's leading sustainable transport charity is asking - and urging us to do our bit to allow our own children that same freedom.

30 June - 5 July is 'Change Your World' week, and Sustrans are encouraging us all to take small steps to help reduce the amount of traffic on our streets - something which Liftshare thoroughly endorses.

They are asking that we all swap just one solo car trip during that week, and then walk, cycle, use public transport or car-share instead.

It's easy to achieve, and the change will be fun! They have useful links (including to BikeBUDi and WalkBUDi) to help you achieve this aim, feel good about how you're helping reduce traffic and feel positive about the world we are creating for our children.

So why not get involved and make one small commitment to do your bit that week? Your effort will not go unnoticed - because Sustrans will count up how many of us help to change the world and will let Gordon Brown know that we want the government to take action too.
