Hundreds of organisations around the country - from Tesco, the AA and police forces, to councils, hospitals and universities - are gearing up to make the first ever Liftshare Week a nationwide success. The event, with its Wild West ‘wanted' theme, has already captured the imagination of people wanting to save money and travel more sustainably.
"Even before the event has started, we're seeing huge interest," said Liftshare's founder, Ali Clabburn. "Twitter is full of people telling their followers about it, whilst today alone the Liftshare network has seen well over 600 new invitations sent by members wanting to car-share with other members going their way."
