30,000 members looking to car-share to festivals!

Here at Liftshare we love our festivals! Which is why we started working with them over 10 years ago. Today our FREE website FestivalBUDi.com - dedicated to helping festival-goers find others to share their journey - has 30,000 active members.

FestivalBUDi provides car-sharing schemes for over 30 festivals (in the UK and beyond). Whether you’re heading for Belladrum in northern Scotland, or the Isle of Wight festival off the south coast, you’ll find over 34,000 journeys available to share. (So one of them is bound to suit you!)

FestivalBUDi also lets you sign up via Facebook - making the registration process even quicker and easier.

We do all we can to help festivals reduce their audience’s emissions. For instance, every year at Glastonbury we have giant map to help people find others going their way, so they can share their journeys home.

Both the festival organisers and the fans who use our site love it. After car-sharing to Bestival, Sophie told us: “Car-sharing is good for the environment and a great way to meet new people. I car-shared to a festival with some people and ended up spending the whole weekend with them!”

Juliet Ross-Kelly, Isle of Wight Festival Organiser, said: “We have used FestivalBudi’s online Liftshare scheme for the last three years and continue to do so as we see it as an important initiative in our overall strategy to limit our environmental impacts. Year on year we are seeing significant increases in uptake of the scheme, so much so we are thinking of increasing our incentive package over the next few years.”
