Car-sharing hits the small screen

This week sees the first episode of a new kind of talk show.... A car-share talk show! Carpool hits our screens for the first time on Dave from Thursday 4th November at 8.30pm.
Taking an interesting spin on the traditional format of the presenter sitting and interviewing thier subject, Robert Lewellyn, presenter of Scrapheap Challenge, will be conducting interviews with celebrities whilst he car-shares with them! Helping them out by giving them lifts and dropping them off where they need to be.
Driving round in his hybrid Toyota Prius, his car-share buddies are set to include: Jason Manford, Rob Brydon and David Baddiel.
Founder of the national car-share network Liftshare.com, Ali Clabburn, had this to say:
"This is a great way of raising awareness of car-sharing and just goes to prove how sociable and fun it can be. This programme looks like it is going to be very entertaining, and will hopefully also help to introduce more people to the idea of car-sharing."
