Diesel hit an all-time high at the weekend.
As the average price hit 143.05p per litre, RAC spokesman John Franklin said: “The new record price of diesel shows the issue of rising fuel prices isn’t going away. Drivers continue to be hit hard in their pockets during these tough economic times.
“With a further 3p-a-litre fuel duty rise planned in August, we hope the chancellor will take a look at this in the Budget.”
In the meantime, you could help any friends who drive diesel cars, by pointing them towards our savings calculator. This will show them exactly how much they could be saving themselves by car-sharing with one (or more) others. It could make a huge difference to their lives…
