Liftshare is coming to South East Scotland very soon.
29/06/2006

It was announced today that Liftshare have successfully won a tender application on behalf of SESTRAN (South East Scotland Transport Partnership) who sought to appoint a suitably qualified supplier to develop, produce and maintain a hosted, web-based journey-share service, that allows their eight member authorities to promote car sharing across the South East Scotland area.

Marcus Seaman, Liftshare's Senior Project Manager is looking forward to starting this exciting new venture:

'Car Sharing in Scotland has huge potential. We're already helping 1000's of people in Scotland, day to day in matching their journeys. With a dedicated travel share system for South East Scotland I am positive that within a relatively short period we shall make a real difference to so many people. Liftshare are delighted to have won this project and look forward to working closely with SESTRAN and its eight member authorities in the very near future'.
