liftshare is a free-to-use website designed to reduce travel costs, congestion and pollution, enabling everyone to share lifts to any destination in the UK. Schemes for businesses are also available through the site.

Kevin Steele, Chief Executive of the Make Your Mark campaign and competition organiser, says: “We received some amazing entries this year from young people who have really made their mark.  The finalists are 25 really strong contenders.  We hope that their stories will provide the inspiration for other young people to follow their lead and make their ideas happen.”

Ali explains:

“We were overjoyed at the news that we had been selected as regional winner of the Chamber Awards again this year.  Being in the final for the Enterprising Young Brits and Chamber of Commerce Awards is a great way to recognise the work which has been done by our fantastic team in getting car sharing in the UK to where it is today.  It helps us to increase the awareness of car sharing within the Environment and Transport industries, gaining the support necessary to make car sharing a mainstream form of transport in the UK”.
